Above it stands Sno fortress — a single tower inside an almost perfectly circular curtain wall, built of river stone and black slate and dated to the 16th-17th centuries, which controlled the routes towards Khevsureti and Pshavi. At the entrance to the village is an open-air sculpture park by Merab Piranishvili, where large boulders are carved into the heads of Georgian writers and public figures.
