The name is new: Tbilisi City Council gave it on **19 December 2025** (decision No. 137). Under that decision, the name Taboris Mta 1st Dead End went to an unnamed dead end next to **Suliko Tortladze Street**. Avlabari is about 1.4 km away. ## Taboris Mta Street The dead end takes its name from Taboris Mta Street, which was named in several stages: - **25 July 2017** (decision No. 277) — an unnamed street linking Krtsanisi and Shindisi, in the Mtatsminda and Krtsanisi districts, was named Taboris Mta. - **10 July 2018** (decision No. 207) — an unnamed lane next to Taboris Mta Street was named Taboris Mta 1st Lane.
