The street shares its name with Eredvi, a village in Shida Kartli and the administrative centre of Eredvi Municipality. We could not find an official naming decision in the Legislative Herald of Georgia (matsne.gov.ge) that explains the reason for the name.

Location

According to OSM, the western end of the street is at the junction of Hugo Hubert Street and Nestan-Darejan Street (about 41.7815° N, 44.7492° E). From west to east, Eredvi Street is crossed or joined by Tarieli Street, Avtandili Street, Tinatini Street and Rostevani Street.

OSM address data labels the area as “Dighomi village” (Sopeli Dighomi), in the “Dighomi, Vashlijvari” quarter of the Saburtalo district. Tbilisi City Council resolution No. 16-35 of 5 December 2014, which divided the districts into territorial units, names unit 9 of the Saburtalo district “Dighomi, Vashlijvari”.

There is no metro station near the street. Based on OSM coordinates, the closest of the stations we checked is Ghrmaghele, about 3.2 km away in a straight line.
